Professor Jürgen Trabant - Professor for European Plurilingualism at Jacobs University
Bremen. Former rector of Studienkolleg zu Berlin. Taught at the Universities of Tübingen, Bari, Rome, Hamburg, Berlin, Stanford, Leipzig, Davis, Paris and Limoges.

Olga Lystsova - art historian and journalist. With oriental art as her focus, in the last decade she took part in many projects involving young artistis. Recently she has been working on an exhibition called „Born in the USSR", which presents the work of Russian artists living in Germany. Born in Moscow, she got her degree in history of arts at the Lomonosov University in Russia. Before moving to Berlin in 1998, she worked as a trustee for the State Museum of Oriental Art in Moscow and wrote for magazines like Paris-Match, Playboy and the Moscow Tribune.

Kulturforum Berlin - a collection of cultural buildings, built at the boundary of West-Berlin in the 1950s and 60s, after most of the once-unified city's cultural assets had been lost behind the Wall. The Neue Nationalgalerie, designed by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe, was built in 1968.
